Testimonials

Play and Learn Sensory designed our multi-sensory room, converting it from a storage press into a fantastic room with all the resources our students love!  Christopher was able to design the room to cover over heating pipes and worked out a great system for switching everything on or off upon entering the room, with no wires exposed. Our multi-sensory room has become an invaluable part of our program at Holy Family.  Christopher makes himself available to sort out any issues and recently did a great maintenance job on the room, servicing the bubbletube and replacing remote batteries, etc.  Play and Learn also put together a trampoline, plinth, mirrored wall panel and some floor padding for outside the classroom – a much needed place for energy breaks, especially on rainy days!  I would recommend Christopher and Play and Learn Sensory to any school or institution looking to install a high-quality multi-sensory room.”

Christopher was great throughout the consultation and design process, putting together the perfect room for our student’s needs and saving us thousands of euro at the same time!  His attention to detail is brilliant and the equipment is to a very high standard – our students love their new room.

I am writing this letter to highly recommend Christopher for his outstanding work in designing and installing sensory rooms in our special school across three different campuses over a period of 5 years. Christopher has been involved in each project from start to finish. We have three sensory rooms and Christopher also installed a soft area in each of our 26 classrooms.

Christopher’s commitment to providing excellent after-service is commendable. He has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that the sensory rooms are well maintained and equipped with the necessary equipment. His prompt response and efficient assistance have been invaluable in addressing any issues that arise.

One of the notable strengths of Christopher is his ability to adapt materials to meet the specific need of our pupils with special needs. He understands the requirements and challenges faced by our pupils and he consistently ensures that the sensory rooms meet all the sensory requirements are met.

Furthermore, I would like to highlight Christopher’s ‘no job too small’ approach. He approaches every task, regardless of scale with the same level of dedication and professionalism. He tackles every task even the smallest ones making a significant difference in the functionality and effectiveness of our sensory rooms.

Overall, we have been thoroughly impressed with Christopher’s work ethos, expertise and genuine passion for creating inclusive and effective sensory environments. I highly recommend him for future projects related to sensory room design and installation. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Chris from Play and Learn Sensory installed our multi-sensory room here at St. Joseph’s Special School in 2020.  Christopher’s consultation was invaluable as he put together a great design that all of our students love and use daily.

His guidance was essential from the start, giving us examples, ideas and sharing photos of other spaces like what we wanted. Initially, we had picked a room that was unsuitable but Christopher found that we had the perfect place, a room we had thought might be too small, to set up our chill zone (sensory room).  The consultation process was very straightforward and Christopher’s after sales care has been exemplary – he is always available to sort out any issue and has helped keep the room in great shape through his yearly service visit.  I can’t recommend Play and Learn Sensory enough for any school or other organisation looking to make the investment in a multi-sensory room.

Ballina Library started planning for its Multi-Sensory Room in 2019 but unfortunately due to Covid 19 wasn’t realised until June 2022.

From the get-go, when “Play and Learn Sensory” sent Chris to consult with us about our room we felt we were in safe hands. Chris advised us on the most suitable equipment and lay-out but also on the not so obvious things like the placement of light switches and door handles to help us and the users of the room get the most from it. Chris ensured the installation of the room went smoothly. We were blown away by this new addition to our library services and the multi-sensory room was an immediate hit with users. We were glad to work with Chris as he made the project easy. He is never further than a phone call away and now, when carrying out the maintenance on the room, will go above and beyond to fix any component that has malfunctioned. We are delighted with what has been achieved in Our Multi-Sensory Room.
